Co-Founder & Director

Matt’s focus in the business, as a Director and Co-Founder is centred around both Finances and Operations. Customer and supplier relationships dominate Matt’s “in the business” time when he’s not jointing working “on the business” with his Co-Founder Adam.
All Clear’s continued growth into new markets, with an ever expanding service suite comes from the unwavering passion and ambition of its Directors. Matt is passionate about business but also the All Clear team. He provides guidance, support and gives team members, many of whom who have no background in business the opportunity to get involved in service development and deployment.
Prior to starting the business in 2016, Matt worked in the fast-paced industry of Telecommunications in senior positions. Prior to that experience within the Construction and mass-Market retailers has given him knowledge of how many varied businesses operate.
When he is not working on his business interests, you’ll find Matt spending time Mountain biking or Motor racing.

As Co-Founder and Director, Adam is jointly responsible for steering the businesses ambition around innovation, service development and growth – with a particular focus on technology, sales and marketing Adam also occupies the role of Lead Asbestos Consultant, all asbestos related services delivered by All Clear are ultimately supervised by Adam, He holds the BOHS IP402 Qualification and has been involved in surveying well over five hundred buildings.
Since commencing operations in 2016, the business has recorded significant growth. Much of that success can be attributed to the commitment around securing and retaining the best talent, and the development of market leading systems and processes and finally, having a non-negotiable approach to pursuing excellence in customer experiences, transparency, independence and pragmatic advice.
Prior to starting the business in 2016, Adam amassed more than sixteen years’ experience in the Telecommunications & Technology sectors, holding a variety of director-level roles with major industry players. In addition, he has extensive channel management, trade marketing and commercial management experience working across multiple industries.
When he is not working on his business interests, you’ll find Adam spending time with his family and friends.
Head of Field Services and Sciences

As the Head of Field Services and Sciences, Grace leads the All Clear Team, providing scientifically accurate and pragmatic advice to clients.
Grace has a strong interest in Microbiology and the impacts of indoor contaminants on human health and wellbeing. She is inquisitive by nature and her talents are backed up by a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Pharmacology) and she holds a BHOS IP402 qualifications.
As a young professional, she values working in an organisation that maintains the highest level of honesty, integrity and is constantly innovating and improving processes and procedures to ensure they are leading the market in everything they do.
Grace enjoys being creative and has many skills, particularly in art and cooking. She also enjoys travelling to exotic places whenever possible.

She is passionate about making order out of chaos with schedules, so does her magic to ensure that urgent last-minute and far-away requests fit in just as nicely as the jobs next door.
Susan is dedicated, hardworking and well organised, making her ready and willing to do her utmost to make things happen for you. She is also kind, compassionate and able to laugh (which keeps her sane!)
Her career has seen her move quickly into different leadership roles, including over fifteen years with Vodafone, Susan has frequently been recognised for her dedication to going ‘above and beyond’.
At home Susan is a wife and a mum, and if there is any time left after that, she loves to lift weights and jump around a Crossfit box.

Joanna leads the Science Team at All Clear, with an emphasis on Forensic Methamphetamine Investigations. She has numerous years of experience in methamphetamine testing and site investigations and brings a breadth of knowledge to the team.
Joanna holds a BSc in Chemistry and a Post Graduate Diploma in Forensic Science from the University of Auckland. Although she only joined All Clear in 2019 as a Senior Consultant, she was quickly offered the role of Team Leader.
Joanna believes relationships are built on integrity and trust. She is dedicated to providing top quality service to her clients by educating and providing accurate advice, based on scientific evidence.
Outside of work, Joanna spends her time baking, playing a game of badminton, planning her next travel adventure, or spending time with her dog, family and her friends.
Business Manager - Healthy Homes and Smoke Alarms Services

Brendan came to All Clear after serving Eighteen years in the New Zealand Police, eleven of which were with the New Zealand Police Dog Section. During his career he was involved in a number of high-profile cases, including the apprehension of an armed offender who had kidnapped a family in their vehicle. He was also involved in investigating Homicides as well as the Search and Rescue operations for missing persons. He used his time in the police to obtain a Diploma in Criminology along with studies in Canine Behaviour and Dog Training.
He also has a Diploma in Teaching, majoring in English and Physical Education.
Brendan uses his skills as an investigator, as well as his strong attention to detail to benefit the company as a Leading Assessor. He is also the in-house trainer for new staff members. Although he brandishes a quick wit and sense of humour, Brendan brings with a him to the role a strong sense of honesty, integrity and professionalism.
Outside of work, Brendan enjoys spending time outdoors. He recently took up paddle boarding and can be found out on the water with his son most summer weekends. He has worked in the film industry for over 20 years, as part of the New Zealand Stunt Guild and has performed in some major motion pictures, including The Lord of The Rings; The Hobbit and Ghost in the Shell with Scarlett Johansson.
He is a trained Martial Artist and still teaches on the North Shore.

Anna’s friendly demeanour and exceptional organisational skills are in place to assist Susan as a Customer Engagement Specialist. She has a positive ‘can do’ attitude and enjoys helping others. Anna has gained a passion for people and excellent customer service skills through for seven years of dedication in the aviation industry in both New Zealand and Australia. She has received several customer service awards in recognition of her ability to provide a service that is second to none.
She is also an avid traveller and loves to initiate spontaneous weekends away with her nearest and dearest. She also enjoys going back to her rural roots in the Wairarapa to spend time with her family and friends.

Zara is an enthusiastic graduate who completed a Batchelor of Business majoring in Marketing and Management at Auckland University of Technology in 2019. During and extending after her studies, Zara worked as a retail assistant at Sass and Bide, before securing the Sales and Marketing Administrator role at All Clear.
With a passion for both marketing and sales and a can do attitude Zara prides herself on her work ethic and attention to detail, while retaining a happy bubbly personality and a great sense of humour.
Outside of work Zara has a love for Health and Wellness and enjoys keeping fit in the gym alongside playing netball. Zara has been extensively involved in netball since a young age and has competed at representative level.

As a senior consultant, Liz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. Previously specialising as a health safety and environmental consultant for a leading consultancy in Melbourne, Australia, Liz worked on a diverse range of projects for residential, commercial, construction and government-based clients.
Liz’s expertise spans across multiple fields, including hazardous material assessments (including asbestos and lead), mould investigation and remediation projects, large-scale asbestos hygiene (removal) works, land contamination and environmental site assessments. Liz enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues to find tailored solutions to a clients’ problems and help achieve safer workplaces and homes. This has included the development of individualised management plans, reports and procedures to assist clients with managing potentially hazardous materials and substances in the workplace.
Her expertise is backed by a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Wildlife Conservation Biology) with Honours. In addition, she has previously worked as an educator and has consequently been involved in training colleagues and junior consultants to assist in the growth of the team.
Liz has a passion for wildlife and music and in her spare time enjoys bushwalking, hiking and playing music (though not at the same time).

Sarah graduated from Auckland University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree (majoring in environmental science). After graduating, Sarah worked as an assistant manager for a pet shop before landing a science graduate role at All Clear.
Sarah enjoys Toxicology work and has a strong interest in water quality. She prides herself on being honest, reliable and strongly committed to her work, all while maintaining a good sense of humour.
Sarah has a great love of animals and when she is not at work, she can be found looking after her ‘zoo’ at home. Thirty nine animals of her own keep her busy; these range from the usual cats and dogs to more unique animals like axolotls and a turtle.
On top of her own pets she also regularly takes in rescue animals, and fosters them until they are able to go to homes of their own.

Agustina’s passion is working towards establishing healthier living environments throughout the greater Auckland area.
Her role as Consultant for All Clear allows her to put her prior two years as an environmental consultant in the United States to the test.
She is a graduate from the University of Miami with a BSc degree in Geology and Environmental Science, with two years’ work experience in water quality and contaminated lands.
Agustina’s passion for outdoor adventure and nature has led her to leave the United States behind, and move to beautiful, wild New Zealand where she spends every weekend tramping in the bush.
In her role at All Clear, Agustina is exceptionally well liked by her clients and she is committed to ensuring clients receive accurate, detailed reports and management plans based on her findings.

Renée graduated from the University of Auckland in 2019 with a BSc (majoring in Biological Sciences) and was recognised in High School for her interest in conservation.
Working to highlight environmental issues and to enhance sustained long-term protection policies has led Renée into a future-focussed career in the field. She is working as a junior consultant for All Clear, conducting field work in and around Auckland. She is particularly interested in both the environmental and societal impacts across the service suite.
Renée has an extensive background and success in numerous sports. Her interest in everything equestrian has seen her develop a wide show-jumping resume. Despite having been hospitalised for two weeks in 2014 after a serious equestrian accident, she continues to ride for pleasure.
When Renée isn’t riding she can be found skateboarding or listening to vinyls. Her grazed knees and eclectic music playlist are testament to this!

Cole is fortunate to have grown up in a family who have worked in the conservation field in some of Africa’s big national parks, igniting a passion for nature from an early age. This early background and a desire to strive for a healthier environment has guided his academic, work and cultural life.
As a University of Auckland BSc graduate, majoring in Biology and Environmental Science, Cole has an interest in contaminants in water, air and soil. The challenges in minimising these contaminants and hazardous materials is a goal which Cole passionately strives towards in protecting New Zealand’s environment.
Auckland representative level cricket has allowed Cole to live, work and travel internationally from the age of fifteen. As a specialist wicket-keeper/batsmen with leadership experience, he appreciates a successful team is built on dedication, commitment to goals, and honesty. Over weekends Cole enjoys working on his fly-fishing on the Tongariro River, as well as camping and hiking with friends and family in New Zealand’s beautiful outdoors.

Zane grew up in a mixture between his family home in the Ruapehu region and Papakura. The exposure to the outdoors and rural setting in the Ruapehu region is what ignited his passion for the environment and the outdoors, leading him to pursue a career in environmental science. Zane is now working for All Clear, performing fieldwork within Auckland and the surrounding areas, training to be an environmental consultant.
Zane graduated from the University of Auckland mid-2020, with a BSc majoring in Environmental science and biotechnology. It was through this progression at University, that Zane really began to develop a key interest in solving complex environmental issues using the ‘scientific method’. In particular, Zane is interested in water, soil and microbiological contaminants and is always keen to find and develop new methods to reduce these contaminants within New Zealand’s environment.
When Zane is not working, you will find him the great New Zealand outdoors. He is a very keen motocross rider, alpine skier and climber, and mountain biker, who is aiming to compete in the NZ national enduro mountain bike series. Zane’s many scars and bruises is a testament to his heavy involvement in these extreme sports.
You will also find Zane playing guitar at his local church, in which he is heavily involved with and has made many lasting and impactful relationships that have affected him both in his working and personal life.

Finn graduated from Otago University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree (majoring in Ecology). Finn’s passion for the environment was prevalent from a young age and he continues to hold a keen interest in eliminating hazardous material from the environment. He has since joined the team at All Clear as a Junior Consultant undertaking field work in and around the Auckland area.
When he’s not at work Finn has a great love of animals and enjoys looking after his pet Dog, Cat and Rabbits. Throughout his studies he was a regular volunteer at the SPCA in Dunedin, which intensified his passion for animals and environmental welfare. During the summer months Finn is heavily involved in Football which he plays in a competitive league and subsequently moves onto the slopes for snow skiing in winter.

Rachel is a positive and highly motivated graduate who completed a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Environmental Science at Auckland University of Technology in 2020. Throughout her degree Rachel has had the opportunity and experience of working within many customer service roles. Recently Rachel worked alongside the compliance monitoring team at Auckland Council. Rachel has now secured a role at All Clear as a Junior Consultant for the greater Auckland region.
Rachel had the childhood exposure of living on a farm in the Waikato and more recently Auckland’s eastern suburbs, both have given her the understanding of the importance of conservation in relation to the environment. Rachel’s passion for the effects of pollutants on both freshwater and land quality lead her to study environmental Science.
When she is not at work Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, walking around the beautiful beaches of Auckland, and swimming in the local bays.

Alice graduated from The University of Auckland in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree, double majoring in Environmental Science and Geography. Alice’s passion for the environment has been apparent since a young age, growing up around the ocean heightened this love. Alice has been an active member of environmental initiatives, including beach clean ups, planting projects and even being a Project Jonah Marine Mammal Medic. She has since joined All Clear as a Junior Consultant for the greater Auckland region.
Through the completion of her BSc degree Alice found a key interest in the complex physical environment, in particular coastal and freshwater processes, contaminated land area and air quality. Alice is keen to make a positive environmental difference and is constantly looking at ways to make a change. When not at work Alice can be found exploring and discovering new parts of our beautiful backyard, as well as continuing to play touch and football.

Eddie is a Healthy homes assessor and Smoke alarm technician in greater Auckland. He has a huge passion for motorbikes and loves riding and fixing them. At a very young age, he was inspired by his dad building a motorbike engine. Watching his father throughout the years, he sharpened his craft to upskill himself in his passion for motorbikes.
Eddie is a strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace. ”We feel better when we surround ourselves with positive people. It motivates us to reach for the stars, work hard, and stay focused on fulfilling our dreams. Positivity begets more positivity.” he believes.
He has gained previous trade credentials through Chorus as a telecommunication technician. One of his accomplishments, achieved during his time in the telecom industry, was to work alongside different countries rolling out fibre throughout New Zealand.
Little does anyone know, but outside work Eddie also has a passion for his sport Muay Thai, where he works alongside King in the Ring fighters as a sparring person (due to his rare southpaw stance). He represents John Bing gym in west Auckland.
Eddie enjoys a good Netflix binge but can also be found either in the ring training or on long motorbike rides down in Coromandel - enjoying the ’twisties’.

Richard attended Havelock North High School, where he played rep. cricket and rugby and won Sportsman of the Year.
He was a Courier in the Wellington area for twenty-six years before moving to Auckland.
He then worked for four years at Ray Haslar Auto House as a Car Detailer.
Richard lives in Hobsonville, near his family. He has two sisters and a brother, and they all enjoy close family ties. His family call him a tidy freak; this is something he says he has always been passionate about, in all aspects of his life.
He is a keen follower of all sport.

Scott has been in the trades & services sector for the past 22 years, first training as a landscape architect & progressing to the building & construction field. He self-trained to achieve his building qualification and proceeded to grow his skills in the construction sector over the next decade.
He explored a role in project management, overseeing numerous construction projects ranging from office fitouts through to managing construction on small apartment complexes.
Scott joined All Clear as a Healthy Homes Assessor where he utilises his in-depth knowledge of residential construction to provide accurate assessments.
His numerous hobbies include DJ’ing, Fishing, Off-roading, Kayaking, Singing, Guitar and Drums. He has recently begun writing a graphic, post-apocalyptic novel.
Scott has two children with whom he spends as much time as possible, teaching them about music and woodworking, although it seems that gaming is definitely where their passions lie!

Ryan saw the light and headed north on SH1, waving twenty seven years in Hamilton goodbye. Ryan attended and rowed for Hamilton Boys High School. He was a member of their successful rowing programme - winning the Service to Rowing award in his final year.
Ryan joined All Clear as a Healthy Homes Assessor and will use his strong eye for detail and broad construction knowledge to complete accurate assessments.
Outside of work Ryan has a strong passion for mountain biking and running, completing the Taupo Marathon in 2016. He also has a love for travelling and has set foot in twenty six countries.

Mark joins the Healthy Homes Assessment team with experience in a wide range of roles, most recently in the construction sector where he oversaw Health and Safety Management and management of commercial and residential projects.
Mark served nineteen years in the NZ Police, seventeen of these as a Detective/Sergeant working in and managing various investigative squads. He received numerous commendations and awards during his career.
On leaving the Police Mark owned and operated two award winning restaurants in Canterbury. When these were disrupted by the earthquakes, Mark took up various roles in the construction industry leading him to Auckland where he has now lived for five years. Marks broad experience has taught him the importance of attention to detail and the value of clear and concise communication and he brings both of these skills to the role of assessor.
Mark has a wide variety of interests including golf, tennis, reading and socialising with friends. He is an avid rugby fan. No matter how long he lives in Auckland he will never stop supporting his beloved Canterbury Crusaders!

Before joining All Clear Miles was in telecommunications, specialising in cable networks and rural broadband. For the last twenty years he has lived in the small north-Auckland town of Wellsford, where he and his wife Cathleen raised three children while renovating a rambling villa from 1920, which they still call home.
In his spare time, Miles loves to indulge his passion for hiking, particularly in the picturesque Dome Valley near where he lives, or on the many bush-clad trails of the Waitakere Ranges near Auckland. Miles has a passion for music which came from being raised in a musical family, where his dad was a professional drummer, and his favourite genre is 50s and 60s Jazz. Another favourite pursuit is classic cars, and at present, he is restoring a 1947 Ford V8.
Miles has always enjoyed the customer service aspect of his work, and looks forward to bringing this to his customers at All Clear.

Connor is currently studying a Diploma in Workplace Health, safety and Safety Management at the Southern Institute of Technology. Before starting at All Clear as a Healthy Homes Assessor, Connor worked in the fishing sector in both retail and wholesale channels, and previously training as an apprentice locksmith.
Connor grew up in the Hawkes Bay region before making the move to Auckland in 2014. When not at work Connor is an avid fisherman and has been since a young age, some extreme highlights include Hawkes bays first weighed broadbill swordfish, large tuna, and marlin. He also enjoys spending time with both partner and family.
