All Clear’s new Fire Safety add-on Service takes protection a step further by installing and maintaining handheld firefighting equipment (fire extinguishers and fire blankets) so tenants/occupants have the practical tools to act quickly and prevent a small incident from becoming a disaster.

Why having both Extinguishers & Fire Blankets matter..

A large number of residential fires in New Zealand start in the kitchen, often from everyday cooking. Many of these especially pan or oil fires cannot be safely extinguished with a standard dry-powder extinguisher.

That’s why we pair extinguishers with fire blankets, one of the most effective tools for dealing with these small but dangerous incidents. Designed to smother flames quickly, a fire blanket is ideal for:
-Stopping a pan or stovetop fire
-Extinguishing clothing fires
-Preventing a small blaze from spreading

Fire and Emergency NZ reports that around one in four house fires start in the kitchen and strongly recommends keeping both a fire blanket and an extinguisher close at hand to contain fires before they escalate. Immediate access to this equipment significantly increases the chances of controlling a fire early, reducing both damage and injury.

Casual Service – Can only be used alongside our Casual Smoke Alarm Service. $69.95 + GST per visit plus $99.95 + GST extinguisher/blanket Installation Charge (equipment and revisits charged separately | Per Extinguisher/Blanket: $49.95 Excl GST Replacement)
